Top O' the morning to ya!!!!!!!

Since my friends and I were at girls weekend this past weekend I thought I'd show off Bella's St. Pat's Day dress that Grnadma Linda made her. It would of been much better if Miss Martha didn't take them outside that day !I would be willing to bet you can't guess where Bella,I and a group of our buddies went yesterday. As they say a picture speaks a 1000 words...

Then after that we went to the park and had a pizza lunch and played. Then we hit the Dairy Queen for Ice Cream. It was a great day for all of us. Whoooo Hooo WELCOME SPRING!!!

2009 Carribean Cruise

We just arrived home from a 10 day cruise to the Caribbean. We went to:Dominica,Barbados,St Kitts & Nevis,St Thomas and Princess Cay. It was a wonderful warm vacation and we so enjoyed ourselves. I thank God that he gave us the opportunity to see more of his wonderful creation. This picture is Bella all dolled up for Formal dinner night and we took her photo on the grand staircase. I even let her wear the pearls Adam bought for me to wear on our wedding day.
These are the flowers my DH sent to me for my Valentines day present. Stargazers lilies (the pink and white ones) were our wedding flowers. This is us re-newing our vows on the ship on Valentines Day. Poor Bella got squished in the middle.
This was the Pink bungalow we rented for the day on Princess Cay. It's so nice and picturesque there. I loved to be able to be pampered and relax . We did this last year on our trip and enjoyed it so much we did it again this year.
This is a photo Mom took of Adm and I snorkeling with Sea Turtles in Barbados. What an awesome time. I really think out of all of the ports Barbados was my favorite. I would go back there in a minute.
Guess What!!!!!!!!!!! We won the scavenger hunt on the cruise ship 2 days in a row. Even without our GPS. It was really fun and we won a bottle of champagne and Princess luggage tags. Mom also picked up the tab on a nice hour massage and It was so totally relaxing. Overall I give the trip a 110%.

Long Weekend

The In-laws were in town this weekend and that gave us some time to get away and have an adult weekend. It was a win win situation as they got Bella all to themselves and we all got to do things we can't do with Bella.

Adam had a geocaching event he wanted to go to on Sat so he headed there and Mom & I headed to Louisville to shop and go the casino. We went to the outlet mall and my score for the weekend was at the Croc's store I got Bella 3 pairs of them for a mere $22. It was a great sale. Then we went to the hotel and took a nice peaceful nap and then got up ,showered and hit the casino. We both lost but had a nice time. Adam cached his way to Louisville after the event to meet us.

Then we got up Sunday and he went on another caching misson in the city so Mom and I went to see Slumdog Millionaire. It was a great movie. Then we met Adam for a nice adult dinner at Outback. Mom headed home and we headed to see Gran Torino. It was Adam's pick but I really liked it way more than I thought I would.
Then we got up Monday morning and decided to climb a mountain. There is a geo cache on the top of a very steep hill in Southern Indiana overlooking the Ohio river. It is a burial vault called "Captain McHarry's Vault" Let me tell you it was a whopper.
Then we met up with a bunch of other cachers who came down to cache in Louisville from Indy. It was a great weekend. How was yours?

Don't Ask

Let me preface this post with this statement "I love my friends but they have way way to much time on their hands when they go dumping their entire purse for others to see on the internet.
I do however love said friends and dearly want to please them so here goes.
I was asked to do a "Purse Dump". You dump your purse and take a picture and list all of the junk you have in it. In my "mother" friends eyes I guess I'd be referred to as a minimalist.
Here goes:
One black WELL worn wallet-If I went into it's contents we'd be here all night!
My Cell Phone
My MP3 Player
2 red pens
1 red marker-maybe I was a teacher in a former life
Scissors
Eucerin hand cream-my hands are so chapped & this weather does NOT help.
Gas Receipt-Do NOT tell Adam but I paid 4 cents more per gallon to have someone pump today.
Kleenex pocket pack
2 Dining certificates from restaurants.com
Paycheck stub-Adam's direct deposit didn't go through this week for some unknown reason.
Pill bottle-it's a prescription bottle but it's filled with Wal-Mart brand Ibuprofen.
Stretchy Headband
Comb
1 Lipstick-"Just Mauvey" by Maybelline
2 Lip gloss-One that sets a certain friends lips a fire
1 cherry carmex
1 lip liner
2 pennies
7 wrapped toothpicks
I'm DONE! That was not so bad huh?
Oh yeah in my spare time last weekend I did this little number for my boss's son's wedding. It's not usually in my job description but I made the topper too!

Merry Belated Christmas

Here's our Tree

Ok Finally I have managed to take a brief moment to upload a few pics of our wonderful Merry Christmas 2008. We had a great Holiday.Below is the Christmas dress Grandma made for Bella this year.
Bella and her Daddy
This is what she woke up to on Christmas morning. A brand new Dollhouse and a new TV. Which she now calls her TVD since it only plays movies. We decided not to hook it up to cable just yet.

Grandma made her Christmas Nightgown too!

Her new cool Princess slippers.

Also my 1st Build-A-Bear experience. Thanks a lot Linda. (NOT) we made the mistake of going there the Friday after Christmas and let me tell you it took us 2 & 1/2 hrs to make 2 little stuffed reindeer.

All and all we had a wonderfully blessed season . Happy Birthday Jesus!
Here are a few closing shots of my family that I am always talking about so that my loyal 1 reader can match a name to the face.
My Cousin Lisa and her boyfriend Steve. Her son Mike and his wife Daphne below.

My cousin Donald and that's his wife Becky below. Then below her is her dad Mike.

Finally....

Ta Da.... Here is the Princess. Well at least that's what we told her . That she was going to be the mini princess walking down the aisle before Aunt Erika did. She bought it hook line and sinker and loved to do her performance. She was a great flower girl and now she has practice for next years wedding of Aunt Rita to Uncle Eric. Ya I know Aunt Erika and Uncle Eric. It's no wonder the kid gets confused sometimes. I put her hair up and by the end of the night it was a crazy disaster but here in the picture below at Grandma's(who made the dress) before the event it was great!
Here she is at the church with Uncle Roger right before their big performances.

Then it was on to the after party and let me tell you she had a ball dancing with anyone she could get on the dance floor. Then as she did the night prior(rehearsal dinner) she promptly fell asleep before dinner was served. Oh well at least she got her dance on huh!

Then after spending Sat with the family Mr. & I heading to the bright lights and big city of New York. We hit the early train and were in the city by 9:30 am . Then we headed straight to the hotel ,checked in ,dropped our bags and walked over to pick up our rental car. Yes I am out of my mind and wanted to rent a car while in the city so that we could make the most of our trip. I mean how many people could their possibly be on the streets on a Sunday right? We went on a tour of the areas around Central Park (Checking out the route for our 2010 visit to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade ) Much to Adam's Geo caching dismay we were unable to drive through out the park on Sunday the street was blocked off. So after that we made a mad dash to Chinatown to do a little bargain hunting. I scored a Coach knock off for $35 and a Pashmina Scarf ($5) then a knock off pair of D&G sunglasses ($4) That was fun!. Then we were off to Brooklyn across the bridge to eat lunch and do a little caching in a local park there. Then we decided to cache more in the city and headed to Battery Park (for those who don't know that's where you catch the ferries to Statue of Liberty) Then we found one cache at the seaport. So around 8 pm we called it a night and parked the car, changed into dress clothes and headed to A.J. Maxwells for Dinner. WOW I went there in May of this year too with my Mom and my cousin and it was a fluke that we found a Coke Points gift certificate for the place . It was a great night!. Then we caught a cab back to our hotel. It was really nice big and Roomy (at least by New York standards)Not to mention it had an awesome view of Times Square too.
Here's me in the park in Brooklyn. I was smiling outside but inside I was whining cause man it was COLD in that park. Most of the caches were right on the water and I was not liking it one bit.
This is a brownstone. If I ever get incredibly wealthy and buy a place in the city it will look like this and it WILL have an elevator too!
Oh I would be remiss if I neglected to tell you that we got up Monday morning and had a wonderful breakfast and took our car back then we headed to Times square to shop for Bella's gift before we headed out to enjoy our last day in the city (our plan was to catch the 6:45 train back to reality) We walked right into the M & M World store and lo & behold they were having a little free ticket lottery for 2 free tickets for that nights performance of Shrek the Musical
We had to hang a round from 9 am when the entry was till the 10 am drawing. In the mean time we went across the street and checked out this place.
Trust me when I tell you it was a whole bunch fancier on the outside than it was on the inside. The ole M&M store was 3 story's of chocolate bliss compared to this Hershey's store I'll tell ya.Must be because Hershey has their own theme park or something?
Then it HAPPENED....... I WON me little ole me . 2 free tickets to the show . It started at 8 that night Whoo hoo but then we found out it wasn't over till 10:30 the exact same time of the very last train back to Connecticut. So long story short our free tix cost us $170 for a room but the tix alone would of been $235 if we bought them. It was a wonderful show and we both had such an awesome time. That meant I had a chance to take a nap before the show and Mr had a chance to hit Central Park on foot gobbling up caches like Pac Man. I did hit quite a few with him though and below are some of our shots of caching. That last one???? A huge piece of the Berlin Wall (largest piece outside of Germany mind you) right in the middle of midtown Manhattan . It was once again a place or thing we would have never got the chance to know or see if not for Geo Caching.
